The 5th edition of the Canada-Italy Forum on Artificial Intelligence 2023 was held in Montréal, an event designed to bring together Canadian and Italian AI stakeholders, universities, research centers, SMEs, start-ups, incubators, as well as international speakers.

Montréal hosted the fifth edition of the Canada-Italy Forum on Artificial Intelligence 2023, an event dedicated to bringing together Canadian and Italian representatives in the field of artificial intelligence, involving universities, research centers, SMEs, start-ups, incubators and internationally renowned speakers.

This year, the Forum chose the Space Economy as its main theme, promoting a dialogue on the synergy between artificial intelligence and the space economy to generate new opportunities and foster innovative projects.

These two emerging fields are influencing the real economy to a more significant extent than we could have imagined. The choice to hold the event in Quebec's main metropolis is strategic, considering the presence of such prominent institutions as the Montréal Institute for Learning Algorithms (MILA), one of the world's leading university laboratories with more than 600 researchers, and the Institute for Data Valorisation (IVADO), which has a workforce of more than 1,400 scientists.

As Cshark, we had the opportunity to participate in this prestigious event, thus enabling the establishment of new contacts and the development of our projects in Canada as well. The possibility of establishing a new office in this fascinating country is concrete, further consolidating our international presence and collaboration.
