As a prelude to the main event, we organized an exhibition of our work, which took place over five days in our hometown, Piacenza, attracting as many as 750 visitors! The exhibition was hosted in one of the most historic and prestigious locations in the city: the magnificent Palazzo Gotico, which proudly overlooks the equally renowned Piazza dei Cavalli.
The exhibition showcased all the components of our DTLSPWAN, capturing the interest of the local audience and achieving an impressive turnout.
All of this was made possible thanks to the invaluable collaboration with the Asimof Association, with whom we had the honor of sharing the venue. The space was enriched by some of their exhibits, including Dave Scott's lunar suit and the replica of the Apollo Guidance Computer & DSKY, masterfully presented by the association's president, Dario Kubler.
The opening of our event was led by our host, Ivan Mitev, and Francesco Brianzi, a representative of the Municipality of Piacenza.
Later, on stage, speeches were given by our Honorary President Rodolfo Guzzi, CEO Alessandro Fanni, and Adriano Gilli, a representative of the Emilia Romagna Region. It was impossible not to be moved by the words of Dr. Guzzi, who honored us with a heartfelt address dedicated to each member of our team. With great passion, he emphasized how human ambition can transcend the limits of technology, while also highlighting that it is the very essence of human ingenuity that gives life to technology itself.
The entire event was broadcast live via streaming to involve our international colleagues. Additionally, the local television station of Piacenza, Telelibertà, covered the event, during which Alessandro Fanni gave an exclusive interview. With this, our event comes to an end. While we look forward to replicating a similar experience, we invite you to relive the most significant moments through the images we have captured!
