On Sunday, March 19, a conference convened by Fast (Federation of Scientific and Technical Associations) and UGIS (Union of Italian Science Journalists) will be held. Alessandro Fanni will speak alongside Davide Carlucci, Concordia Station mission chief in Antarctica to emphasize the potential of fundamental scientific knowledge and applied research, both of which are indispensable for the future of new generations.
The meeting is dedicated primarily to journalists and popularizers but is also open to the interested public free of charge. It will be held inside the Fast Congress Center in Piazzale Rodolfo Morandi, 2 in Milan from 2 to 5 p.m.
